Last Friday our first child was born, Tyler Richard Landsman. He's 8lb 13oz and 21 inches long. What a cute little dude!

We're nervously/excitedly awaiting the arrival of our first child (a girl), and I know that my wife hopes that the baby is nowhere near as big as 8lbs 13 oz!
I hope that your wife's recovery is going well, and that you guys are getting some sleep.

Wow, Ian, that's great! Congratulations, my friend.
Try to schedule your workload at about 50% for the next 6 months or so. That's all you're going to get done anyway, trust me. 
My wife and I are expecting our second in October. Being a parent is a lot of fun!

Thanks guys! 8lb 13oz is pretty big but my wife did great. She's pretty petite too so I was pretty amazed the little dude got out!
My workload is normally 200% so I guess I'll try and kick it down to 100%
