ISV Ad Network
If you're in the market for a powerful and user friendly Help Desk solution, please take a look at my company's flagship product HelpSpot.I've been thinking about starting a community ad network for small ISV's.
I started some initial discussion on this thread:

Discussion
I think that the internet is crying out for a web ads service that allows businesses in related fields to join together and start their own ad networks.
I feel like I've just given away a multi-million dollar idea, even though there's countless of others that have to be thinking of the same thing.

It seems to be working out very well for The Deck

Did your idea get any clearer after all that? And did you get any offers of help?
I'd be happy to help (if I can, desktop software guy here!) get something like this going if we can get the concept right... I've got a big useless Adsense block that I'd love to replace, and something with some uISV community benefit would be great.

I've gone back to the drawing board on this a bit. I thought making it more of a community thing where all could benefit would be the way to go, but not many people see it that way. So I'm back to looking out for #1 as they say and considering directly advertising with blog owners and paying for the ad space to replace their worthless adwords blocks. I'm still open to a more community oriented project, but I really only have significant time to devote if it's sales oriented. I love talking and writing and all that, but there comes a time where you need to focus on growth and that's where I am now.

That's understandable. I'm sure there are plenty of us who would be prepared to help out a bit and talk about this kind of project, but what it would really need is someone to take the lead and drive it forward. I'm not sure any of us really have that kind of time. Except Bob Walsh, of course, I'm convinced there's more than one of him

Interesting idea, Here is a list of things ,I think a ISV/ Blogger/Software company should understand before start anything like this.
1.When you think of AdNetwork first you think of community which you know. This is not enough for example when a developer start selling his product first marketing effort is telling his friend who are developer themselves now it becomes a circle you are always in the cirlce, come out of that ! reach clients who are not in your domain, don't create this like a telephone game.
2.Do you have the manpower to call blog owners , convince them to be member of your ad network.
3.How much revenue you promise them or is this for free.
4. starting something is easy but to keep that working it's tough.
Better idea is to start like a non profit org to help ISV's then you approach Ad network companies like industrybrians, blogads, deck.
Above is my 3 cents
Good Luck.
