Anyone else going to the FOWD conference in NYC November 7/8? I’m thinking of going if for no other reason than it’s something actually going on in NYC. HelpSpot is probably going to get a pretty decent face lift in v3 and so I’m hoping this might get the creative juices flowing.

Sure there's always stuff going on, but I mean most of the major software and development conferences are on the west coast.

I agree with Ian, most important hapenings take place in L.A., San Francisco or Las Vegas - as far as software is concerned.
Therefore I won't be in NYC - but anyway, what is "the future of web design" ???

Hi - Just noticed this post. I'm part of the company organising the event (http://www.carsonsystems.com - we do a couple of different events for developers, designers etc).
FOWD is on 7th November, with some workshops on the 8th. You can buy tickets for the conference only at $195 (a few early birds left at $145 right now) or a two-day pass including workshops from the speakers at $595. Or if you can't make it, you can order a DVD of the event too.
We're excited to hear what all our speakers have to say - it should be a great couple of days.
