Expression Engine 2.0 Preview

If you're in the market for a powerful and user friendly Help Desk solution, please take a look at my company's flagship product HelpSpot.

The guys at EllisLab have released a preview of EE 2.0. It’s fantastic, I love it. The UI is really nicely done. I especially like how it’s catered to their market so well. You can tell it’s going to be really easy for non-tech folks who have to maintain websites to get around and use the system.

I love the preview and am psyched. Keep in mind, though, "their market" is heavily-tilted toward developers. Yes, we eventually turn over the Control Panel to our clients and it MUST work for them, but the product gets sold to developers who want a flexible, robust platform (which is what was touted at the SXSW preview, at least as I followed someone who was there, liveblogging it).

Sure, but at the end of the day if it doesn't work for clients devs won't buy it or won't keep buying it. But they do have to cater to both for sure and there's definitely plenty of dorky goodness in there especially with the CI integration.

And how can I look it through?
