I’m giving twitter a go. Since I don’t have as much blogging time as I’d like I thought doing some quick tweets might be a good alternative. I can’t promise I’m going to stay with it, but if you want to follow along my account is http://twitter.com/ianlandsman
I thought about cross posting them here, but I think it might be annoying. Also I don’t really want the blog to just be a series of daily posts containing my tweets. Thoughts?

I decided to use it to update a caption on my homepage. I find myself occasionally inclined to tweet, but reconsidering because it becomes my homepage caption. Other times I wish I had something to update the caption with. Check out how Kottke handles his inline on his blog (kottke.org).

I chose to have my tweets posted on my blog, because I'm using Twitter as an extension of my blog (just as I use del.icio.us this way). If I just posted things like "feeling like making a peanut butter sandwich" to Twitter, then I wouldn't cross-post to my blog. But, my tweets are in-line with what I blog about... they're just shorter than I'd like a typical blog post to be.

I added a twitter sidebar so I'll see how that goes and proceed from there.

Your sidebar thing covers the content in Opera v9, you should just remove it, in my opinion.
